TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These promotion terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Beer Safe Promotion (“Promotion”) offered by Switch Lighting, and Active Electrical Suppliers Ltd (“we,” “our,” or “us”) to customers (“Customers” or “you”). By participating in the promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read these terms carefully before participating in the promotion.

Promotion Period

The promotion is valid from Friday 1 August 2025 until 11:59pm, Tuesday 30 September 2025 (“Promotion Period”). Orders placed outside this period will not be eligible for the promotion.

Eligibility

The offer is available to customers who purchase any Switch Lighting or sLED products during the promotion period. Customers who return products purchased during the promotion period will not be eligible to receive any associated rewards. Rewards are conditional on the final purchase of products and will be forfeited if the products are returned.

Reward Criteria 

Spend $200.00 + GST or more on a single invoice on Switch Lighting or sLED products and receive an entry into a draw to win 1 of 4 Beer Safe beer fridges.

General Terms

Only entry per qualifying invoice.

The reward is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other product or service.

The promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Switch Lighting offers, promotions, or discounts.

We reserve the right to modify or terminate the promotion at any time without prior notice. All eligible orders placed before the modification or termination date will still be honoured in case of any such modification or termination.

We reserve the right to verify the eligibility of customers and to refuse the provision of the reward if any fraudulent activity is suspected.

Four winners will be drawn:

• Upper North Island (Includes: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, parts of Coromandel)
• Lower North Island (Includes: Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Hawke’s Bay, Gisborne, Wellington, Wairarapa, and the Central Plateau [including Taupō]).
• Upper South Island (Includes: Nelson, Marlborough, Tasman, northern West Coast, northern Canterbury [incl. Christchurch]).
• Lower South Island (Includes: Otago, Southland, southern Canterbury, southern West Coast).

Competition Disclaimer – Beer Fridge Prize

The beer fridge prize is supplied as part of a promotional competition run by Active Electrical Suppliers Ltd in conjunction with Switch Lighting.

By entering and/or accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges and agrees to the following:

• The winner of the beer fridge must be 18 years of age or older and legally permitted to consume alcohol in New Zealand.
• The prize is the fridge only—no alcohol is included.
• The fridge is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.
• Active Electrical Suppliers Ltd and Switch Lighting accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, or injury of any kind arising from or in connection with the use of the prize.
• The prize must be collected from your local Active Electrical Suppliers Ltd branch. Delivery is not included.
• Active Electrical Suppliers Ltd and Switch Lighting are not responsible for any faults or defects associated with the prize.
• It is the responsibility of the winner to read and follow any instructions, safety guidelines, and warranty information provided with the fridge. Any warranty claims must be directed to the fridge’s manufacturer in accordance with their terms and conditions. 

By participating, entrants accept these terms as a condition of entry and prize acceptance.
